Three candidates will be screened at the 2018 Statewide Endorsing Convention: Trahern Crews for Governor; Thomas Harens for Tina Smith's US Senate seat; and Paula Overby for Amy Klobuchar's US Senate seat. All candidates have filled out screening forms. These forms will be available the day of the convention, and can be obtained in advance of the convention by requesting a copy from [email protected].
Unlike other parties, all members of the Green Party of Minnesota have the right to participate in the statewide endorsing convention. If you have a question about your membership status, please contact us at [email protected] and we can help you figure it out.
In order to vote on endorsement, you must be credentialed (checked in) by the start of each screening process. This means if you want to vote in the screening for Governor, you must be credentialed by 11:15, for Tina Smith's Senate seat you must be credentialed by 12:30, and for Amy Klobuchar's Senate seat you must be credentialed by 1:15.
