2025 Candidates
Adam Schneider
Candidate for Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board, At-Large
Adam Schneider is a food and energy justice organizer running to be one of the next at-large commissioners of the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board. Born and raised in the Twin Cities, Adam moved to Minneapolis after graduating from college in 2021 to be closer to his partner. He soon started working with the Little Earth community around climate resiliency, which led him to join the effort to protect the Roof Depot building in the East Phillips neighborhood. Since then, Adam has collaborated on various campaigns focused on environmental and economic justice, and he has worked to protect and improve community gardens and connect people to clean and affordable energy. Adam is running to create a park board that is rooted in the community, takes bold and meaningful climate action, respects its workers, and makes sure the youth of Minneapolis have the space and resources to play and learn.
