This has been an incredible year for Green politics in Minneapolis! Our six endorsed candidates have been campaigning hard to get voter support and get the word out that Greens are eager and qualified to serve in local government to move us toward a city and a park system that work for everyone.
The 5th District Green Party has been actively supporting these candidates since the first endorsements last February, and we will be looking toward recruiting candidates for next year’s elections very soon. Please consider making a donation to help us build your local and be ready for another precedent-setting year for Greens in Minneapolis. Our online donation capability is not yet up and running, so please bring your checkbook next Tuesday. If you have not already taken advantage of the PCRP program for a donation to the state party or another local, you can receive $50 back from the state of Minnesota for your donation to the 5th District Green Party.
We look forward to seeing you at the Creamery Café to celebrate our party and thank our fantastic candidates for working so hard this season.
The Creamery Café is owned by the Seward Community Coop. All employees are paid a living wage. Food is organic, local and/or sustainable. It is located in Park District 3 and close to City Council Ward 2 and Park District 1.
