After the presidential election of 2024, the Green Party of Minnesota, as well as other Green Parties around the country, have seen dramatic growth, renewed interest, and infrastructure development. As the country is awakened to the fundamental corruption that is the foundation of the two major parties, people are looking for a party that more closely aligns with their values and intentions for the future. As they look into the Green Party, they see that we have been fighting that very corruption since our founding.

After the 2024 Presidential election, many Muslim Americans became active members of the Green Party after seeing both major parties support the genocide in Gaza. In Minnesota, we certified a Muslim-American Caucus (MAC) in spring of 2025. Also, in early 2025, on the national level, a newly formed Arab and Muslim American Caucus formed. As has always been, the Green Party is the party of peace. Now, people are waking up to how the money from the fossil fuel industry, weapons manufacturers, developers, and others is fueling a political system that promotes mass casualties. For long-time Greens, an influx of new members has spurred a sense of responsibility to guide and support the younger generations. Therefore, there has been some enthusiastic discussion about forming an Elders Caucus.
