You don't have to vote AGAINST something this year, you can vote FOR a vision of integrity in 2026 with Green Party candidates. Whether you're wanting a democracy that better represents the will of the people, representatives who are brave enough to stand against federal overreach, a voice for youth, or protection of our natural resources, WE ARE HERE!

You may already know this, but the Green Party of Minnesota and their candidates don't accept any donation from non-human entities. No Corporate PACs, no special interest groups. We don't even accept money from small businesses, non-profit organizations, OR unions (although we do support the right of every worker to unionize or organize as cooperatives). This keeps the party and our candidates accountable to US, the people. While we maintain our integrity, we're also small because most people have become accustomed to campaigns being funded by those corrupting sources (hint: you can be the change: https://mngreens.nationbuilder.com/donate) .

Anyway, this year, the Green Party of Minnesota is proud to have endorsed seven candidates.

Steven Young and Jane Kirby are running for Governor and Lt. Gov. Their motto is " Pro-Water, Anti-ICE." They stand for all the things the vast majority of us want: 

• Protecting water and habitat
• Taxing the rich and corporations fairly
• Divesting from genocide
• Universal
  • health care
  • child care
  • basic income.

We have a Secretary of State Candidate, Seth Kuhl-Stennes, who believes that "Our government must be a place of inclusion and deep listening." He stands for:

• Proportional Representation
• Ranked choice voting for statewide races
• Growing democratically controlled businesses
• A full and equitable public campaign finance system
• Ending money as speech and corporate personhood.

Ngone Niang is our endorsed candidate running for MN Senate 39. She represents a new generation of leadership. She says, "I believe public service means answering to the people." If you live in Columbia Heights, Fridley, Hilltop, New Brighton, St. Anthony, or Spring Lake Park, she is on your ballot this year. She stands for:

• Protecting clean water
• Holding polluters accountable
• Lowering housing costs while strengthening housing stability
• Investing in youth, mental health and disability access
• Strengthening pathways to good-paying jobs,
• Putting people and communities over corporate influence

If you live in Dakota County, you have a Green Party endorsed Soil and Water Conservation District option this year. Bruce Johnson is seeking reelection. He:

• Has experience and integrity
• Has voted over a thousand times for environmental protection

The District 3, Three Rivers Park Board campaign this year has a Green Party endorsed candidate who is in a unique race against a Republican. If you live in St. Louis Park, Golden Valley, Crystal, Robbinsdale, Brooklyn Center, or St. Anthony, you will be able to cast your vote for Rachel Braaten. Rachel is a long-time activist for progressive causes, fighting for just social and environmental issues. The three pillars of Rachel's campaign are:

• Future Focus
